Mesolens Ltd is a fledgling company which combines the knowledge and experience of two optical designers. Dr Brad Amos FRS was co-inventor of the point-scanning confocal microscope and has more than 20 years of experience in the design and manufacture of microscopes for biomedical research, as well as an internationally-recognised expert in the field of cell motility. Mr Esmond Reid is one of the UK’s top lens designers, with extensive experience in astronomical optics, who advises on major international projects and is a UK beta-tester for the industrial-standard lens design software Zemax.
